Chambertin-Clos-de-Bze is a prestigious lieu-dit of the famous Le Chambertin Grand Cru vineyard at the northern end of the Cte d'Or. It is planted entirely to Pinot Noir, making a wine that is classically Gevrey-Chambertin: full-bodied, concentrated and structured, and worthy of being aged for many years. (Wine Searcher)

Thanks to its eastern exposition, this parcel of Chambertin Clos de Bze is well ventilated by the northern winds, while its moderate slope ensures a perfect drainage. The soil is of brown limestone and rich in mineral salts and limestone debris.

Wine characteristics:
The aroma suggests strawberry, blackcurrant, and gooseberry as well as fruit pits, liquorice, and spices. On the palate, power, opulence and elegance unite to make a full and complex body. Keeping potential is 10 years minimum.

Food pairing:
Roasted lamb, chicken in red wine sauce, glazed poultry, and rib steak.
